Description
Class Experience
For lovers of "Frozen," this class will get kids hooked on ukulele! Students will learn ukulele basics (string names, chords, finger names, parts of the ukulele, tuning), enjoy weekly take-home projects (including color-by-chord diagram and practice tips!), and finally, learning how to play and sing "Let it Go" at the same time! Students will begin class with weekly Frozen-themed "ice-breakers" to build a strong sense of community. We will then share our weekly wins and challenges, share...
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn foundational ukulele technique. They will end class able to play "Let it Go" from Frozen!
I graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2014 (BA) Currently pursuing higher education for Music Therapy Masters Certificate in Childhood Mental Health by Institute of Child Psychology 10 years of professional experience as a performing artist and music educator!
Each week, students will enjoy Frozen-themed interactive activities, and a specific practice goal (with accompanying video for reference.)
A ukulele A clip on tuner OR a tuning app on a device Pen/pencil Notebook I will provide learners with a workbook!
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
