Description

Class Experience

This is a great class for students who have never taken any French before but  who don't want to start with "baby" stuff like the alphabet and counting!  This is for students who want to talk about things that matter to them in French! Beginner French students will learn the basics in a small class setting from a certified French teacher.  The class is not an immersion class, this class will be taught in English and grammar will be explained in English.  Each class will consist of "notes" or...

Students will be able to describe themselves and others.  They will be able to talk about THINGS THAT MATTER!  Students will be introduced to vocabulary about people, hobbies, preferences, foods, school, homes, places in a city, nature and what they like to do.  Students will leave the course being able to introduce themselves and share some important things about their lives.

Students will have optional homework.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

At the end of the course, students and parents will receive a written note about the student's progress in French.

45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
