Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Students will be able to create many different fashion styles and looks using the art skills and tools we cover in this course. I want to help my students learn how to channel their creativity into creating their own unique fashion designs with confidence.
Homework will be assigned to help students gain a better understanding of class concepts. Homework will consist of fashion drawing exercises. There is only one homework assignment which will involve students working together. There will be an option for students to complete this individually, if the student prefers to work alone.
Materials List: Fashion Croquis Printout (Provided by teacher during class assignments for students to print off.) Mixed Media Sketchbook Watercolors (watercolors, water, cup, paper towel, paint brush, mixed media paper/sketchbook/watercolor paper.) Pen Pencils Color pencils Markers (thin and fine tip) Marker Blender (optional) Blue or Black Ink Pens Color Pencils Washi Tape Decorative paper/Texture Paper Scissors Tracing Paper Carbon Paper
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
This Fashion Workshop includes many drawing exercises, teacher videos, prompts and fashion context for your student. Each week there will be a fashion assignment for students to turn in. Assignments will be reviewed, and positive constructive feedback will be given from the teacher.
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
