In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Gamer tags and online role-play interaction on a private server will NOT be explored in this class. The instructor will lead Dungeons and Dragons in an “offline” format that does not require students to join an online community outside of Outschool.

The instructor will work with the students in the first week of class to construct “class norms” to ensure a safe and equitable role-playing experience.

In a role-playing scenario, students will be encouraged to role-play various perspectives and these perspectives will be processed as a class.

In alignment with the Outschool policy, please note the following:

Role-playing scenarios NOT allowed:

- Shouldn't have kids play oppressor/oppressed roles

- Examples: prison guard/prisoner, plantation owner/slave, SS guard/Concentration Camp internee.

- Any group being depicted as superior or inferior

- Role-playing violence

- Role-playing marginalized groups in any way that is not empowering

- Anything in bad taste or in violation of our class content policies or other Outschool policies.
