Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello, my name is Frankie and I am a dance teacher. I have been teaching dance for about 6 years now and I have been training in dance for 20 years. I teach dance classes in a variety of genres including jazz, tap, ballet, modern, contemporary and musical theater. I teach ages ranging from about 4 years old to 17 years old. I also have done some work with adult students as well. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance Education with a minor in psychology. I also hold a K-12 teaching certificate in dance. As a teacher, I believe that every student can succeed in dance. I know that there is not one kind of learner or one way to teach. I am a firm believer that when given the tools, every student can succeed. I also believe that the arts are a great way for students to learn more about themselves and express themselves. Dance is not only physical but it is very much so mental and it takes a lot of hard work, but it is so fun! I have been dancing for almost my whole life and I love it very much and try to make it fun and accessible for every kind of student.
