Description

Class Experience

To understand the art of crochet and how it fits into the world of fiber arts. To learn the skills to create basic crochet objects and start and finish them on your own.
I have been an avid crocheter for the last decade, designing and writing my own patterns, teaching and selling my goods. I have been teaching kids ages 5-18 in person crochet classes for the last 7 years with all time enrollment in the triple digits. This experience has prepared me for all potential problems that we may encounter as well as how to address and overcome them.
Learning to crochet well takes repetition. Students will need to commit to working at least 15 minutes every single day between classes on the skills learned in the previous class. Additional short videos will be posted for them to review the skills learned.
 2 files available upon enrollment

30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Learning to crochet well takes repetition. Students will need to commit to working at least 15 minutes every single day between classes on the skills learned in the previous class. Please ensure students can schedule this time the majority of the days during the 3 weeks of this class. Crocheting takes both the right and the left side of the brain and daily practice helps connect those pathways.

*If you have younger students intrested in learning (ages 7-9) please reach out and we'll see if this class might be a good fit for them.
