Description
Class Experience
The basics of robotics and coding will be taught and practiced. More specifically, the following concepts will be covered: - Motion planning - Repeat loops - Computational thinking - decomposition & algorithms - Code efficiency - Comparing and refining algorithms - Variables - Route selection - Controlling multiple ‘drive units’ (fleets)
Students must sign up for a FREE subscription to CoderZ.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
A FREE account for CoderZ is needed for this class. This class is a private platform that allows students to practice their coding skills. CoderZ is a safe website and representatives from CoderZ have trained me to use the program through Outschool.
