Beginner Level
The purpose of this class is to build basic communication skills in Chinese (Mandarin). Although Chinese characters (written words) are shown throughout the course, the emphasis is on speaking and PinYin (transliteration) is used to help show proper pronunciation of the words. The course has been designed through in-field research realizing the most used phrases, the most needed vocabulary and the specific cultural and language specifics needed to understand and speak Chinese. The class is immersive, meaning more often than not, Chinese is being spoken, repeated and used in a way that the learner catches on to additional phrases. The teacher is a native English speaker who has been speaking authentic Chinese since 2013. The teacher encourages the learner to speak from the first minute of the first class reducing anxiety. The teacher encourages the learners and builds their confidence. 10/10 highly recommend!

Introduction to numbers 1-10, understanding cultural and language particularities of certain numbers; review of past content 50 mins online live lesson
