Welcome to our 4 week Beginner A Gymnastics Summer Camp! Learners will have a solid foundation in gymnastics and will be well on their way to mastering more advanced techniques by the end of camp.
As a gymnast for 9 years, gymnastics coach for 7 years, and a certified personal trainer, I love sharing my passion for health, fitness, and gymnastics with all my students!
Learners will spend 5-10 minutes per week journaling to log their gymnastics camp experience.
APPROPRIATE ATTIRE Students should wear moveable athletic-wear in order to fully engage in each activity. SPACE AND EQUIPMENT They should also have a safe space to practice gymnastics, free of any obstacles, alongside a clear wall nearby for handstand progressions. A gymnastics mat, yoga mat, rug, or soft surface should be available for performing tumbling skills. A water bottle is also advised. CRAFT SUPPLIES •Printer Paper + Printer Available •Crayons, Markers, or Colored Pencils •Popsicle Sticks •School Glue •Safety Scissors •Pipe Cleaners •Googly Eyes •Ribbon (of any color) •OPTIONAL: Glitter
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
