During this class students will be introduced to the composer Ludwig van Beethoven. We will delve into his life, his Symphony of Fate, and even discuss a few musical terms (such as that famous four note "motif"). Students will learn about the life of Ludwig Van Beethoven and why his Symphony No. 5 in C minor, Op. 67 sounds angry. We will talk a little bit about the time period Beethoven lived, the classical era of music and even learn a few musical vocabulary words.
I have a degree in Music Performance from Louisiana State University. I am an oboist and play in many ensembles as well as maintaining a private music studio since 1996.
