Description

Class Experience

Students will learn yoga relaxation practices to use before bedtime.
I am a CYT 200 Yoga Teacher.  I have training in yoga for children and teens, accessible yoga, yin yoga, restorative yoga and trauma informed yoga.  I have taught English and Special Education in public schools in the USA for over 20 years and teach yoga to my students at school.
None, but students are encouraged to practice nightly.
Students may do this practice on their bed or on the floor.  Having pillows, (yoga) blankets or towels, and a yoga mat if on the floor will help create a comfortable relaxing environment.  Students should wear comfortable clothes - pajamas are fine!  You may also want an eye pillow or cloth to place over your eyes and some nice scented lotion or oil!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please let me know if your learner has any physical needs that I need to take into consideration.
In addition, please make sure your learner has adequate safe space to workout in (on the floor or a bed space they will not fall off of), comfortable clothes that they can easily move in, and a water bottle.  This is a very gentle bedtime yoga class but if your learner has been inactive prior to the class, some gentle stretching would be of benefit.  I will be monitoring those learners who leave their camera on but if you feel your learner needs additional supervision, please be available for support.  Yoga students are always encouraged to listen to their own bodies and never make the pose too strenuous.
