Class experience
In this class, learners will get to hear poems read aloud by me as part of their bedtime routine. Poems will include works written by me and also works written by famous children's poets such as Robert Louis Stevenson. The class will be structured to include: - simple introductions of names at the beginning of class, and a request for learners to go on mute for the poem readings - a quick overview of the poems we will read - me reading the poems aloud as learners listen and relax In...
Being both a teacher for English and meditation classes, I wanted to offer this bedtime poems class as a combination. It offers both an opportunity for young learners to hear poems and also focus on beautiful imagery as a relaxation routine before bedtime. I have been teaching English and meditation on Outschool, along with other subjects, since April 2020.
