Description

Class Experience

During this engaging class, we will learn about couplet poems and write some for sleepy unicorns. A couplet poem usually has 2 lines that rhyme. Additionally, each line has about the same number of syllables. For example, "mane" and "rain" could be incorporated. Students will be given examples and support throughout the writing process. Notably, we will discuss unicorns, potential bedtime poetry topics, rhyming, nouns, and adjectives. I'll encourage everyone to share a poem or at least a...

This class is taught in English.

There is no homework.

  1 file available upon enrollment
Learners will need paper, pencils, and an eraser. If they want, they can share a unicorn item. I attached the lesson document, but learners don't need it. I will share my screen.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
