1 hour per week. Learners will post pictures of their activities that will be posted by me throughout the class and participate in conversations in the classroom each week.Class Experience
Learners will receive an extremely gentle introduction to music theory in this four-week flex course! I realize that music theory can be intimidating and presented overwhelmingly to children, thus discouraging children from wanting to learn about music theory. I would like to change that. This class is designed specifically to make learning about the fundamentals of music theory to be stress-free, fun, and for no tears to be shed. This class is supposed to not only be educational but also to make learning about music theory fun! No music/music theory background is required for this course to enroll. Throughout this four-week course, learners will learn about bass and treble clef, how to read music notes, names of music notes, and the order of sharps and flats. Parents, please note: This class is very gentle and is very much so considered to be *easy*. The purpose of this class is to make music theory "easy" to encourage learners to continue to learn more about music theory. Additionally, this class is designed with those with an interest in learning the keyboard in mind.
