Class Experience

-Watercolor paper
-Pencil & Eraser (white erasers work best and don't mar the watercolor paper) TO USE PRIOR TO CLASS
-acrylic paints (various skin tones plus white, black, brown, yellow pink, tan, and I like purple for shadows)
-acrylic brushes (small round or small flat will work, plus the thin liner, mentioned above)
-water/rags/papertowels (clean water will be needed when beginning watercolors, so two containers of water mights be easier than -leaving to to dump and refresh it)

The student will choose the skin color and choose several shades of paint for that color. For example, a lighter skin might need a medium pink, tan, white and lavender/purple for shadows. A darker brown skin may use a dark brown, white, tan possibly a little yellow or red, and purple for shadow. The exact colors of paint aren't important, but darker values of paint (a medium pink instead of a very pale pink) and WHITE (for creating lighter values of all the colors) are a must!
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
