Class Experience

In this course for children 13-17 years of age, you will learn the basics on the process of becoming a self-published author in 5 simple steps:
1. Writing Your Story
2. Editing Your Story
3. Making Illustrations
4. Putting it Together
5. Publishing Your Work

We will begin with a brief introduction on who I am and my experience with self-publishing, then we will continue by elaborating on each of the 5 simple steps. We will end the course with a presentation of my published book and the...

Students will be able to apply the 5 simple steps to becoming a self-published author.

I am a self-published author and have done extensive research on the process of publishing. I am happy to share this with students on their own journey to publishing.

There will be a set of notes provided upon registration that may be printed or kept on the screen to help you follow along with the class.
