By the end of the course, students will confidently identify and understand various syllable types, effectively decode and pronounce words of varying complexity, and demonstrate proficiency in applying syllable knowledge to reading and writing tasks.
Homework Offered
Each week, students will be challenged to find as many words as they can that follow the syllable pattern we are learning about. They can find words in the world around them or look in books! We will go over each student's list at the beginning of the first class of each week.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

Students should take my "Become a Vowel Expert" course before enrolling in this course.
Learners will need paper and something to write with. It would be best for students to have a notebook or folder to keep notes together between each class.
