Description
Class Experience
Students will learn the scales of C major and A minor (hands separately, one octave), plus the broken triads of C major and A minor (hands separately), as required for the technical work component of Trinity College London Initial Piano exam. They will also learn three exercises which will demonstrate a) tonal balance, b) finger and wrist strength/flexibility, and c) co-ordination.
Students will need to have purchased the Trinity College London Initial Piano Exam book before the class takes place. The book is available from most sheet music suppliers and also from Amazon.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
