Who is ready to transform themselves from a Minecraft beginner to a Minecraft Master? This flexible schedule course will give learners in-depth lessons on the ins and outs of Minecraft Survival Mode. Learners will start from the very beginning (how to create their first world with custom settings) and explore how to mine, how to build a house, how to defeat mobs, and even learn how to travel through different Minecraft portals. Nearpod links will be uploaded into the classroom every Sunday...
Upon completion of class, students will be able to: -Create a new Minecraft survival world with custom settings -Demonstrate how to craft and enchant tools, weapons, and items -Define different types of mobs -Design and construct their own housing -Identify various ores -Differentiate and travel through portals
Students are required to have Minecraft downloaded and installed on their device of choice. Please reach out to me if you have specific questions about acquiring the game.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Learners will be required to submit weekly assignments that show understanding of the weeks' lessons (i.e. photos of completed tasks)
