I am offering this class because I noticed parents expressing a need for a class about finding the main idea. I was excited to hear this because, as a fifth grade English/Language Arts teacher, I have much experience in this area. I enjoy teaching in a way that really builds on students' interests and helps them to think and create their own understanding of concepts.
1 file available upon enrollmentThere are no materials to purchase. Each week, I will email some handouts and worksheets to be printed out by the parents prior to the class. Also, have some blank sheets of paper and markers or colored pens or pencils handy for students to use during class.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
