In this one-on-one course, students will build confidence in their reading comprehension, grammar, and writing skills.
Class experience
US Grade 2 - 6
This is an ongoing one-on-one tutoring session for language arts skills. Topics include comprehension, grammar, reading fluency, and writing. The curriculum will be customized to the students' needs. I use a variety of strategies to create lessons that are both informative and fun. After enrolling, please see the classroom post for a survey to help me understand how I can best be of service. My teaching style is compassionate and motivational. I also believe that learning should be fun....
Students will learn strategies to help improve their literacy skills.
I work as a Tier 2 reading intervention tutor and an ESL teacher. I'm in the process of completing a Master's in Education.

Supplemental work may be provided if necessary.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
A brief written assessment will be provided with 24 hours of the class.Grades Offered
Students will need a notebook, pencil, crayons or colored pencils. There may be handouts posted in the classroom prior to the session.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
