US Grade 2 - 6
This is an ongoing one-on-one tutoring session for language arts skills. Topics include comprehension, grammar, reading fluency, and writing. The curriculum will be customized to the students' needs. I use a variety of strategies to create lessons that are both informative and fun. After enrolling, please see the classroom post for a survey to help me understand how I can best be of service. My teaching style is compassionate and motivational. I also believe that learning should be fun. Parents looking for more of a “drill sergeant” type of teacher are not likely to resonate with my teaching style. I believe that bringing out the best in a student requires patience, encouragement, and building rapport .
Learning Goals
Students will learn strategies to help improve their literacy skills.
