Description
Class Experience
By the end of this course, students should have a deep understanding of the advanced chess strategies discussed and how to implement them against their peers.
No homework will be assigned, but students are encouraged to practice what they've learned against family and friends, at home or online, between classes.
Students will practice chess against each other on Chess.org (as guests, no login or personal information required).
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
All students who complete the course will be sent a certificate of completion as well as award ribbons conferred for their placement in the in-class tournament. Report cards will also be made available to parents by request, at any time during or at the end of the course, detailing their child's progress.
7 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
