Beginner Level
In this class I will teach kids on a week by week basis how to run a legitimate game of Dungeons and Dragon's through the role of a Dungeon Master. Dungeon Masters are people who manage the world, rules, and outcomes of the players they have in their games. Through this class we will cover how to manage players, how to communicate to them, and how to implement the rules to other players. We are a loose structured class with learners taking turns taking the lead of our class for our players or just me if I am the only one in the class. I will give directions to the learners about what they can do to lead the game and the other players, I have a loose and free teaching style allowing learners to think for themselves, only interjecting when the learner needs it the must. I will interact with them though discussion, practice, and running a game of Dungeons and Dragons with the kids leading as the Dungeon Master.

Parental Guidance
The content in this class can sometimes focus on fantasy style worlds as well as a focus on combat against enemies.
These fictional enemies can be other worldly or fantastical, but never too much to harm them.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Thank you so much for considering me for your next teacher, my name is Carlos Castro and i'm a passionate young teacher who excels at public speaking, motivation, training and development, and gaming.
I have a bachelors degree in Communication Studies, and many years of volunteer experience with students of all ages, I was a youth church leader for kids 5-12 for 5 years, I coached for middle school football for boys ages 12-14, and I volunteered at my University for my Campus Ministry helping college students learn how to manage the stress of a full time job, school, and a social life.
I have experience with all ages and a lot of experience with young kids, teens, and young adults, developing their maturity, and their skills in the things they want to learn more about.
I've also had full time jobs working at fast food restaurants, call centers, front desks and different departments, so I guess you can say I have experience with people of all ages.
I'm very excited to be able to give students the opportunity to not only learn something new, but to actually care about what they're learning, which I believe is something we as a nation are lacking incredibly.
