Class experience
In this one time class, students will be learning to draw a beautiful butterfly and marigold flower and color it with paint pens, markers or colored pencils. We will break down the flowers into simple shapes and then refine our drawing. Drawing techniques will cover sketching, mark making, and creative inking and coloring as needed for the specific project. Lessons will be in a "work with me format" with visual and audio step-by-step instructions. I will show my finished work at the start of...
Drawing and coloring techniques.
White drawing or sketch paper. Pencil and eraser. Paint pens, marker set or colored pencil set.
Child-safe, non-toxic art supplies only. Some markers are permanent stainers. Please protect surfaces and clothes. Remind learners to not draw on their skin in case the marker is permanent. :)
