This class is for all the singers! I have had the pleasure of enjoying music in the classroom with many young learners, and it brings me joy to see them light up with happiness while singing songs. I thought it would be awesome to make a music class where they can sing as much as they want while hearing other talented singers. In this class, learners will select a theme and write/sing a song based on the selected theme. There a many benefits to music education. According to Kenneth Guilmartin βMusic learning supports all learning. Not that Mozart makes you smarter, but itβs a very integrating, stimulating pastime or activity,β Each class will involve some level of discussion surrounding the themes for a well-rounded experience! Learning Goals
Students will improve their ability to think, create, and work as a team. Each song will be based on various assigned/selected topics. Learners are encouraged to be as creative as possible.

Hello!
My name is Danyelle, and I love to teach and interact with people. I am very excited to meet you. I received a Bachelors degree in English with a minor in History. I have always taught in some capacity, whether it meant leading in organizations at school, singing groups, church classes, Assistant teaching, or creating tutorials online. I have also done mediation and counseling amongst my peers. I have a passion for healing and wholeness for all individuals. I genuinely love to see people happy and fulfilled.
Teaching online has brought me so much joy. I feel a great sense of purpose each time I engage with my wonderful students. There is nothing like the feeling of witnessing someone learn a new concept, express their feelings about the class, overcome a hurdle, or simply have fun while learning.
Outside of academics, I absolutely love to sing. I have sung my entire life, in school, at church, at weddings, and during online classes. I've noticed that many students respond well when music is involved. Along with music, I love health & fitness, some "drama" or acting, photography/videography, reading, writing, and personal development. All of these things are very important or enjoyable aspects to life, and I believe that incorporating them in the classroom will greatly benefit the learner. I am very excited to offer classes that will promote healthy, happy, and well rounded individuals.
I've learned that each student is different, and will flourish when someone takes the time to give them what they need. I truly try to teach with "purpose and passion" because that is what I enjoyed/enjoy as a student. My hope is that students leave my class feeling more confident and comfortable in themselves and their ability to learn and "be" in this world.
