Welcome, everyone! This is a great opportunity to take a class both drawing and dance at once! Who doesn't love a Mermaid and starfish? Mermaid is so playful and always on a mission or adventure! In this class, We will start with a drawing of a starfish. We will do coloring the starfish with student's own color choices. After that, We will gently cut out starfish using scissors. Once our starfish is ready, we will start to learn fun and beautiful mermaid dance movements with our starfish friend! We will jump, dance, smile! There is absolutely no dance or drawing experience required. This is an easy drawing & dancing class. We will draw something new and dance with it! Let's get moving! LET"S HAVE FUN!

Other Details
Parental Guidance
Please make sure the learner has a clear open space to dance in and water available to them at all times. We suggest that students do not wear socks if they are dancing on a hard wood floor or tile.
Supply List
Learners must prepare A4 plain paper, pencil, eraser, color pencils or color markers, and scissors. Learner should wear comfortable cloths for moving.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello,My name is Scarlett Park.
I love to teach visual art with dancing. For one of my lesson example, kids will create a starfish art for half of the class and learn mermaid dance using their own starfish.
I strongly believe that exposing students with various types of art will stretch their creativity, and have them become more expressive.
I am a choreographer and an art instructor at Prism Art School, in California. I have taught all ages from kindergarten to elementary students over 5 + years. I graduated from LACHSA. ( Los Angeles Art high school) I have BFA in art and choreography from California Institute of the Arts, California.
