Description

Class Experience

In this ongoing class, we will read a new Beatrix Potter book together each week and then talk about it as we free draw about what we read.  The drawing serves as an interactive "narration" in which the children are able to process and share what they gleaned from the story they heard.  Beatrix Potter is the perfect introduction for young children to quality literature!

August 4th - The Tale of Peter Rabbit
August 11th - The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin
August 18th - The Tailor of...

Please bring a piece of paper and drawing implements (crayons, colored pencils, or markers) to class each week.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
