Each day begins with a friendly hello song, inviting each learner in by name. Moving on to a woodland or garden-themed ballet warmup, we will explore simple French vocabulary while moving our whole bodies with focus and joy. After a themed stretch (think squatting like frogs or twisting like roots!), we will read each day's story (see book list below). This is a social, joyful, multifaceted approach to ballet education. Students will learn simple French movement terms and elementary ballet technique, but also be given ample opportunity to express themselves and make their own choices.
I own a ballet education company, and have taught creative ballet in schools, daycares, camps, and community centers for nearly a decade
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
