Description
Class Experience
Writing stories, poems, essays, and other works is not always as easy as it seems. Even experienced writers get writer’s block or have trouble in starting a new piece. For newer authors sometimes these blocks feel permanent. Building on the basics that are also taught in my one-time class Beating Writer's Block and Other Blocks, in this ongoing workshop learners are going to play with words, put ideas together in amusing ways, complete exercises, and bring writing into a format that is easy...
Students will work on their pieces outside of workshop, sending them to the teacher before the following class.
Notebook/paper and pencil/pen. Handouts might be given for reference, but printing them is optional.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
