Beatboxing 101 (Ages 5-7)

This class will cover the basics of beat boxing, including posture, vocal warm-ups, and the sounds that go into a vocal percussion toolkit.

This course will focus on groups of sounds you can make with your mouth, and it will include an introduction of rhythm patterns, games, and activities for further engagement.

Learners will all be able to play a game and practice with each other for each activity.  I focus on interactive learning, so although I may have a distinct plan, I am open to changing course for our learners! No background knowledge is necessary, only a pencil, paper, and drive to learn more about vocal percussion!  A website for further practice will also be shared at the end of class.
