Class Experience

Students will learn the history of Hip Hop movements, how to improve physical and mental health, how to better understand their body language and how to build self-confidence and engage in group activities. In each session students will learn new moves and routines.
Learners may be assigned specific breakin’ or street style steps to practice on their own. Students will be asked to practice the Breakin' fundamentals and routines before the next class
We ask that all students wear comfortable clothing such as gym shorts/sweatpants/leggings, a t-shirt and sneakers you can dance in.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The instructor may share informal assessments at the end of the 12 weeks.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
For this program students will need an open workout space, comfortable clothing (gym clothes), proper footwear (sneakers), and a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout class.
