Class Experience
To improve their understanding of bearded dragon care To observe basic care routines and procedures To learn about natural habitats and the part we play in protecting them
I have been a bearded dragon owner for almost eight years. I have been able to take Franco into schools and nurseries in order to help children learn about reptiles in a hands on way. I am fully committed to animal welfare and have written a paper on the positive effects of animal interactions on children.
No homework set but some sites for further investigation will be provided.
Bearded dragon (optional!) Pens and paper for creative vivarium design. This is a great session for owners and non owners alike.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

There will be live food (locusts) fed to franco. This can be distressing for some children.
