In this on-going class, the students will enjoy a weekly story time about Bear and the many different things that happens in his daily life. There will be a craft activity or science activity after each story. Reading aloud to younger students stimulates their imagination and expands their understanding of the world. I am an experienced elementary reading teacher and have a great love for children’s literature and being able to incorporate books into all subject areas. I want my students to be excited about reading/writing and I feel that my passion comes thru in each story I tell!
*Supplies needed will be listed in the classroom the week before each book. *No books need to be bought by the parent.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
*Each story time will involve a craft project or child-friendly experiment. I will list everything for each book the week before so that you can see what will be needed or how much you will need to assist. Ex: scissors, glue.
