Class experience
The intention of this group is to help learners in middle school and early high school learn skills and mindset tools for resilience through the inevitable ups and downs of life at this time in their development. It is also meant to provide social opportunities and social skills practice for becoming more confident, competent people. When I’m not teaching, I am a health- and life coach, board certified by the Association of Drugless Practitioners. I have a passion for working with moms, teens, and children. In my capacity as a coach I’ve led groups and taught classes and workshops for over a decade.
Homework Offered
Students are encouraged to start a daily journal individually between meetings.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

This group and coaching general are not meant to replace mental health counseling. There are professionals better suited than I am to working with learners who don't want to attend Zoom meetings or who have challenges self-regulating. Coaching is also not a substitute for mental health treatment for learners who are struggling with addiction, clinical depression and/or anxiety. As a trained coach, I work with people in all stages of happiness, but our work is not on processing or understanding the past but on learning mindset and resilience tools to produce motivation, momentum, and excitement about the future.
