📝Let's become better writers!📝 In this 8-week poetry writing class, we will learn all about poetry and how to write it while catering to each learner's interests (Be You!). I have taught these lessons both in the classroom for several years as well as on Outschool and have seen amazing masterpieces created. Now it's time to see what your learner can create! Each week, learners will be introduced to or review poetry terms to help them with that week's assignments. We will focus on figurative language, poetry analysis, and types of poems. Lessons will be given via Google slide presentation and include continual class participation. They will be given examples to help them craft their poem for that lesson. Learners will have some time at the end of each class to start on their assignment; however, it is recommended for learners to create their poems outside of class in a focused environment. Writing assignments will be completed on a personal Google slide link the learner will receive before the course begins that the learner will type on or can print out to handwrite.
