Description
Class Experience
Does your learner love to talk about things they are passionate about? This may be the class for them! In this class, learners have the opportunity to become the teacher. Weekly themes will be provided (see below), and learners are invited to present what they know about the subject and engage with their peers. Learners are expected to come prepared with some knowledge about the topic, and are welcome to use props (toys, pictures, books, etc) to help them present. Each learner will have...
Learners will gain confidence speaking and presenting with peers. Learners will practice critical thinking when developing presentation, asking questions of peers, and answering questions. Learners will develop independent presenting skills.
Learners should come to class prepared with their presentation materials.
Learners choose materials they would like to use to help their presentation.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
*Mute will be used ensure presenter has uninterrupted experience. Learners can all unmute for Questions & Answers. *For the safety and privacy of learners, video recordings of classes with more than 1 student will not be shared with learners or parents.*
