Description
Class Experience
Learners will become familiar with different artists and their works. Students will also be exposed to art terms like colors, shapes, names of different art styles, and actions like cutting, gluing, and painting.
No homework is expected or assigned, but some learners may need time outside of class to complete art projects.
Supplies will vary based on specific projects to be completed. These can include, but not are limited to: Construction paper in different colors Paintbrushes Tempera and/ or watercolor paints Oil pastels Thick paper like card stock or a sketchbook Scissors Glue (liquid and/ or stick) Ruler Faux flowers Bowls, plates, and/or paint palette A list of specific supplies for each project will be posted in the classroom one week prior to class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents may need to assist with things like collecting art supplies, setting up projects, helping to cut with scissors, and using appropriate amounts of glue and paint.
