If you could have one day where everything that happened was lucky, what would it look like? In this one-time class, learners will write about what they would experience if they could have a day full of good LUCK. To begin, learners will brainstorm ideas of what a lucky day would look like and decide in what order they would want those experiences to happen. We will learn about including transition words and phrases into sentences to connect events and how to write an introduction and conclusion sentence. Learners will have the class time to complete their paragraphs, then share with the class their "Luckiest Day." This class practices organizing ideas, using transitions, and writing in sequence using Google slides for presentation. A printable handout will be available for completing the lesson.
