US Grade 2 - 5
Actors in this class will read and discuss a different play each class with other actors! They are encouraged to create dynamic characters using their voices while practicing inflection, emotion, and motivation. Students will not only become more fluent and expressive readers, but they will also become more empathetic actors! Students will not only become more fluent and expressive readers, but they will also become more empathetic actors by participating in this reader's theatre class. This is an acting and a reading class. Students will improve his/her reading fluency by following along while other readers read and reading out loud with expression, enthusiasm, and creativity!
There are not many things more rewarding than being a part of a play! As the owner of a children's theatre, I've directed and produced hundreds of plays and musicals and have worked with kids in many capacities. I passionately love seeing kids develop academic and life skills through performing arts activities!
