Class Experience
This class will be a comprehensive review of Algebra 1 concepts including order of operations, exponents, radicals, solving linear and quadratic equations, adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and factoring polynomials, determining equations of a line and reviewing formulas for the coordinate plane. The students will have the opportunity to review and practice Algebra 1 concepts to prepare them for future higher level math classes.
I am a licensed teacher with 20 years of teaching math classes and test prep review.
No homework will be required.
Learners should have a working calculator. I will provide notes and practice problems that will be uploaded to the classroom and can be downloaded and printed for class.
The leaner is assessed informally as we work through the practice problems.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
