Be a Mathematician 4.0: Fourth Grade Math * FULL CURRICULUM
FALL CLASSES START IN AUGUST. This ongoing math class teaches 4th grade math concepts using common core standards. Each week a different math concept will be taught with optional practice materials provided after class for more individualized and targeted practice. We will cover a full curriculum from August through May.

Description
Class Experience
Students will learn 4th grade math concepts using common core standards.
Optional homework is assigned through IXL. A username and password will be provided by the teacher( no charge to you) while your child is enrolled in class. IXL is a self correcting website where parents can see their child's growth and areas that they are struggling in. Upon enrollment, parents will be provided a tutorial about the website.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Through IXL, parents will be able to access a weekly report about their learners progress.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Students will occasionally be asked to use scissors to cut out math shapes, etc. for lessons prior to class. Parental guidance is recommended. Also, students will have access to IXL. Parents will be given the username and password for this site as an account is required.
