Be A Food Influencer: Make Your Own Cooking Show Segment

Class
Lisa Ely
Average rating:4.9Number of reviews:(212)
In this 4-day course, students learn what it takes to create a healthy recipe and how to turn it into a TV or YouTube segment.

Class experience

I am a TV producer and director who has worked with various networks and genres, including HGTV and Food Network. I have produced hours and hours of successful how-to shows, including some amazing series in the genre for YouTube.
Students will need to have ingredients on hand if they choose to shoot a cooking demonstration or learn how to step-it out with hands on demonstrations. Students should also have a video recording device or two if they choose to shoot a cooking segment to share. These can be shot on smartphones, computers, SLRs, Osmos, Pro and Consumer Video Cameras or Super Chip Cameras.
In the kitchen, parental guidance is recommended as students will be in the kitchen and there are hot appliances and other hazardous things in the kitchen depending on the student's experience level and recipe choice. Parents are advised to oversee the cooking demonstrations that are shot and also ensure there are no allergy issues for the student. The recipes are created and pitched by the student so they should create items that they are familiar with and can eat.
