The Battle of the Atlantic was the longest continual conflict of WW2. This 5-session course looks at the challenge of sending troops and supplies to Europe, how the Germans sought to stop that shipping, and how the Allies confronted the U-Boats and other German threats. The course is structured sequentially, from the key events prior to the start of WW2 through the progression of events to the ultimate end of WW2. Learners will discover the importance of the battle of the Atlantic in WW2, what decided this conflict, and the tactics and adjustments by both sides.
I've taught multiple courses on WW2 or other conflicts on Outschool.
Homework Offered
Each learner will be given a research assignment in the 1st session that will lead to an oral presentation in the last session.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
