In this class, we will be introduced to the year. We will learn basic calendar vocabulary and how to read the calendar. We will learn the days of the week, months of the year, and the four seasons. By the end of the course your child should be able to answer the following questions: What day is it today? What month is it? What season is it? Lessons 1 & 2: Days of the week Lessons 3 & 4: Months in the year Lessons 5 & 6: Seasons Lessons 7 & 8: Review days of the week, months of the year, and seasons. At the end of lesson 8, there will be a short in-class quiz to see how much they have learned.

Supply List
Your child will need crayons or markers to complete the activities. There will be some in-class activities and a few activities that students may choose to do on their own.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
