Description
Class Experience
In this six-week course students will be learning the stepping stones of Biology. We will cover the foundations of what biology is, the characteristics that all living things have in common, biochemistry the chemistry of life, types of cells and the organelles within those cells and their function, how cells get energy, how cells grow and divide, along with how does genetic material get passed from one generation to the next! Each week we will meet live for an interactive lesson the learners...
Students will gain a deeper understanding and foundation of the first term of Biology.
I am passionate and have a love of teaching science! I have a Master of Arts degree in Education and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Biology along with over 8 years of experience teaching science in the classroom and online. My passion is to help students understand and learn science in an approachable way. I believe that every student is capable of learning and I want to provide science classes that are fun, accessible, and will help boost learners confidence in the field of science!
Each week learners will have challenge or practice problems to help them connect more with the material.
Notes and activities will be provided. Students will need paper and writing utensils.
