¡Hola! Hello! Welcome and thank you for looking at my Bio.

My students know me as ¨Profesora Stephania¨ or ¨Miss Stephania¨. I was born and raised in Guadalajara, México where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Exceptional Education with a specialization in hearing and speech. I have been teaching for about 10 years, and I hold a certificate from Universidad Complutense de Madrid in Madrid, Spain for educating Children with Learning Difficulties. I am also a Certified Teacher, and I am currently studying for my Master´s in Spanish Language and Culture.

As a native Spanish speaker, sharing the love for my language and culture has become my passion. I love teaching Spanish and I try to bring as much of my culture into the classroom as possible.

In my classes, I include the use of TPR (Total Physical Response), a method of teaching language or vocabulary concepts by using physical movement to react to verbal input. I blend visual, auditory, and kinesthetic activities to engage all types of learners.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, meditating, drinking coffee, taking photos, admiring nature, and eating. I enjoy trying different kinds of cuisine, but Mexican food is my favorite since it reminds me of my country and warms my heart.

I hope to see you soon in my classes. ¡Hasta Pronto!
