In this one-time class, students will review a variety of math skills while using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with an interactive Kahoot game!

This class features a math Kahoot! A competitive game where students will play against each other to show what they know about math. Students will review their understanding of standards including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Students will play using Kahoot! They will need to have a secondary device to play on, such as a phone or tablet. I will provide the Game Pin Number at the beginning of the class for us to begin. You can play the game on Kahoot.it or on the Kahoot! app (download prior to class). Students choose their answers on their secondary device, but see the game play and scores in the Outschool classroom on Zoom. We will discuss what good gamesmanship should look like because the game can bring out our competitive side! This class is all about math. As we play the game, we may have some side conversations about the how students get their answers. This class will not have a lecture or homework!

Supply List
Please bring an additional device to class; either have Kahoot! app downloaded or log on to kahoot.it. Be sure to have your devices prepared for class beforehand so that we are not waiting for learners to download the apps and get a second device. You may want to have a pencil and paper to work out math problems if needed.
