London has 2,000 years of history -- Let's break in down into bitesize pieces, and in this one-time class we will start with a focus on London history from 1066-1300. After William the Conqueror invades and wins the Battle of Hastings, he takes stock of what he now owns and writes it all down in the Doomsday Book. Homework Offered
An optional homework assignment will be to explore Google maps and online websites for the Bayeux Tapestry and Magna Carta. A handout will help the students to find these locations.Assessments Offered
