Students will learn the basic knife cuts and review knife safety. There will be a lesson followed by a practical hands-on work time.They will prep the veggies for a basic vegetable stir-fry. A cooking demo and recipe will be included.

Description
Class Experience
Learners will learn how to safely use knives and learn the basic knife skills including handling and safety.
I am a passionate about cooking and have taught food studies and knife safety and skills from grades 7-12 for over 10 years.
1-2 red, green, red or yellow bell peppers 1 medium sized onion 2 garlic cloves 2 zuchinni 2 carrots 1 bunch fresh parsley or cilantro chef's knife paring knife vegetable peeler cutting board bowl
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
