Basic Knife Skills Part 1

Students will learn the fundamental basic knife skills including cross chop, rock chop and tap chop. They will learn about using knives safely in the kitchen and how to properly work with a chef's knife. Students will practice the knife skills while prepping veggies for a stir-fry. Included will be a lesson and a worksheet for the learner to fill is during the lesson. Then there will be a hands-on work and practice session where learners will be guided through the basic knife cuts, and safety measures.

Learners will learn how to safely use knives and learn the basic knife skills including handling and safety.
