Students will learn the basics of horse care from a live demonstration.
Class experience
The students will learn about caring for horses and what horse owners need to provide from a real horse owner. The live demonstration will include information about safe handling, grooming, shelter, nutrition, and vaccinations given to horses. The class will also cover foal and weanling care. Foals are the babies and the weanlings are the ones that are leaving their mothers.
I will provide a fact sheet about our horse farm. I will also include information sheet about what is talked about during the live demonstration.
